Tuition

Rebecca Ryan Music offers tuition primarily in singing in all genres to students of all ages.  Group and individual classes are offered.

Practise makes perfect and Rebecca Ryan Music provides lessons to encourage practise methods together with musicianship, interpretative skills and techniques. Music theory, where learning to identify features of harmony, rhythm or scale, sight reading, aural proficiency and the basics of conducting can be incorporated into practical lessons or taught separately. A varied repertoire suggested in classes, introduces students to different styles and genres and can be tailored to suit individual or group abilities and requirements.

Students are encouraged to participate in concerts in order to demonstrate their new skills and continue building confidence in performance. The option of entering for exams are a great way of providing goals and a sense of achievement. Exams are open to all ages and are another method by which different eras and styles of music are explored.

Keeping an open mind and building a thorough background in general musical knowledge will help students prepare for any career in the music industry including musical performance, media, theatre, music education and technology.
